Tails & Ales Dog Wash
The tough girls of the Roller Derby and dedicated animal lovers from the Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) have teamed up again to bring you the second annual Tails & Ales Dog Wash to help raise money for two worthy organizations. Join us for the fun at Barrio Brewery on Sunday, March 21st from noon-4pm. Get your dog washed while you enjoy beer, lunch, and live music while helping raise much needed funds for non-profit organizations in our community.
Pamper your pet and have some fun! The Roller Derby girls and the Humane Society will be washing dogs for a $10 donation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase personalized pet ID tags from Urban Puppy. Barrio Brewery is generously donating 10% of all food sales during the event. The brewery's patio is dog friendly so you can enjoy ale alongside your pal with a tail! Also, make sure to get your limited edition commemorative pint glass to get drink specials all day. The event will feature live music from Rasta Sauce, Pinche Blues Band, and The Tryst.

Suggested donation: $10 ($5 for an additional dog. More than 2 dogs? Make us an offer!)
Why: The event benefits the Humane Society of Southern Arizona and the Tucson Roller Derby; both are 501©3 non-profit organizations. The Humane Society of Southern Arizona is dedicated to the general welfare, sheltering, placement, and prevention of cruelty of animals in southern Arizona. HSSA receives, shelters, and cares for nearly 13,000 lost and unwanted companion animals each year. We depend heavily on fundraising and donations to continue this level of care. The Tucson Roller Derby is a skater-owned and -operated all-female roller derby league founded in 2003. They are dedicated to empowering women through the amateur sport of roller derby and giving back to the community.
