AAF Tucson / United Way Media Partnership
In 2000, AAF Tucson and United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona entered into an agreement for advertising services, including media and production of creative materials.
"This program is truly a community partnership and could not work without the support and generosity of our more than 35 media partners. The results have been outstanding, with over $4 million donated in advertising to the United Way. This bi-lingual public service advertising program is the largest one ever conducted in Southern Arizona," said Michael Bolchalk of Bolchalk FReY Marketing.
Since the AAF Tucson / United Way partnership began, Ad Fed has created a sustaining Scholarship Endowment Fund for its Education Foundation. Scholarships are awarded annually to Student Advertising Federation members of The Art Center Design College, The Art Institute of Tucson, Pima Community College and University of Arizona. The scholarships also include a Hispanic Marketing Education Scholarship funded through proceeds from the Annual Hispanic Marketing Educational Series Luncheon.
