American Advertising Federation Tucson
Student Scholarship Program

AAF Tucson continues to be a strong supporter of advertising education. Currently, The Art Institute of Tucson, Pima Community College, Southwest University of Visual Arts and University of Arizona each have AAF Student Advertising Federation Chapters and AAF Tucson has endowed a scholarship fund to help support students in each of these chapters. AAF Tucson awards these scholarships annually to one active, deserving student in each of these four chapters. One Multicultural Marketing Education Student Scholarship is also awarded each year. These five scholarships are each $1,000 and are awarded during the annual AAF Tucson ADDY Awards event held on the third Saturday of February.

The AAFT NextGen Council & Scholarship Committee plans and supervises the educational work of AAF Tucson. The President and Board of Directors work to insure that AAF Tucson's education initiatives are conducted with the best possible results. The Committee reviews student applications and advisor recommendations to determine which candidates should be selected to receive scholarships. The Board of Directors reviews the committee's recommendations and votes to approve scholarship recipients.

Scholarship award checks are made payable to the college for an account to be established in the student's name – this scholarship can be used for tuition, books and/or other needed educational materials.
